MELYNTHIA FLUTE, CELLO & PIANO TRIO

Klio Blonz ~ Flute,  Rebecca Hepplewhite ~ Cello & Grace Mo ~ Piano

"Klio Blonz and her musical partners wowed the audience in Andover with their wonderfully precise and engaging performances - the first under the Melynthia Trio banner.  Klio's mellifluous flute was matched by Rebecca Hepplewhite's gorgeous cello-playing and Grace Mo's articulate pianism - each player allowing the others to shine as required by the music.  A true chamber-music masterclass!"  Andover Concert Society (January 2025)

"Trio MELYNTHIA presented a programme of music by familiar and unfamiliar composers, performed with artistry and virtuosity. They further endeared themselves to the audience by taking it in turns to introduce the pieces. A wonderful evening."

Sevenoaks Music Club (February 2026)

"A full and appreciative audience enjoyed a splendid programme of music by Haydn, Robert Schumann, J.N.Hummel, Gaubert, Enesco and the French nineteenth century composer Louise Farrenc, whose music is being played more frequently these days. The trios and duos were played with elegance and grace, and with gravitas and virtuosity when appropriate. The enthusiastic audience enjoyed Elgar’s Chanson de Matin as a delightful encore."

"Flautist Klio Blonz together with  cellist Rebecca Hepplewhite and pianist Grace Mo, gave the children of the Music Schools of Northern Greece a unique musical educational experience, with the high level and solidity of their performances, the excellent choices of the repertoire and the immediacy of communication. The children learned in an interactive way about the magical world of 18th and 19th century chamber music and had the opportunity to meet classical and romantic composers they had never come into contact with before; they got to know Louise Farrenc and Johann Nepomuk Hummel, exploring aspects of music history unknown to them. A wonderful educational program that balances between the perfection of the interpretations and the spontaneity of the speech. Thank you!"

Mariana Bozapalidou, Head of Educational Programs, Megaron Concert Hall, Thessaloniki, Greece.
